Pantry 2021 Recap: We are proud to announce the number of people we were able to distribute free food to in 2021 on the last Thursday of each month in spite of the safety issues we had to deal with during the pandemic. We would like to thank all our volunteers, Bendix for donating the Mobile Market van, Buckeye Health for their continued support, Second Harvest Food Bank of North Central Ohio for providing the free fruit/produce, and their support throughout the year, Discount Drug Mart for donation of bags used at our distributions, and LMHA for providing the space for us to run our food pantry in 2021...Thank You... Thank You...Thank You!

11/23/2021: Thanksgiving Pantry
Today we handed out 36 turkeys with all the fixings along with items from our regular pantry today at 156 Pratt Blvd. Thank you to all volunteers: Bobbie Sears, Sally Whitfield, Mary & Tim Bryan, Debbie Williams, Jennie Hixenbaugh, and Jeff Baxter. Thank you to Second Harvest of North Central Ohio and LMHA for their support throughout the year. A special thank you to the Lorain County Community Action Agency for the grant that enabled us to purchase the turkeys, and other Holiday supplies.

Our food pantry is open every last Thursday of the month from 12-1:30PM and is located at 156 Pratt Blvd., Elyria. Over the past twelve months, through the pandemic, we have managed to service 1,731 people. with the number of meals provided being 15,579.
Starting this month we are reverting to a Choice Pantry from a Prepack Pantry. We ask that anyone who is not fully vaccinated to please wear a mask upon entering the pantry for the safety of our volunteers. Thank you.

Food Grants are awarded to qualified programs and were secured through funding from the Harvest for Hunger campaign and individual donations; the Sidney Frohman Foundation, the Wightman Wieber Charitable Foundation, and the Erie County Community Foundation for Erie County partners; and the Lorain County Community Foundation for Lorain County partners.

Mobile Market: Invest Elyria working with Our F.A.M.I.L.Y. will be delivering food to those in need to locations in our city with our pilot "Mobile Market" project.
